3.    Brief Introduction to Workshop

 

            Health care professionals invest a significant amount of their time and resources in managing human resources i.e. people in the organization. In any organization conflicts are inevitable. It is very important to manage the conflicts so that the people in various teams in any organization keep on working effectively. This workshop will look at basic principles of conflict management and how to apply these to conflict scenarios in educational systems. The scenarios will be enacted and participants will experience conflict scenarios themselves and try to sort it out with the help of facilitators.

 

4.    Who Should Attend?  

Health care professionals e.g. medical, dental, nursing faculty; students; administrators in medical education, members of MEU and curriculum committees.   

5.    Intended Outcomes:

 

The participants will be able to understand the principles of conflict management and its application in educational systems. They will be able to plan strategies to handle conflicts in their working environment.
